It's been awhile since I've had time for this blog. With the holidays and trying to make a living this blog has been a low priority.

Since my first blog we have elected a new President. As a conservative I went through the usual anger and then depression. Never did I believe that the American people would elect such a inexperience person. Never did I believe that a man with his back ground could get elected.
Never did I believe that the American people would elect a man because he's black. I was wrong.
That's right! I WAS WRONG!!!!!
I knew the media was powerful and I didn't underestimate them. I always thought the American people were smarter than that. Could see through the hype.

I never thought that the American people would look pass this man's lack of experience, his questionable associations, and elect someone so that they can feel better about themselves.
I WAS WRONG!!!!
Yes, that's what the American people did.
The Democrat party found a good looking, articulate, black man and along with the dominate media, packaged it and sold it to you. Along with a little white guilt, large quantities of cool-aid, and a continuous call for "CHANGE" you elected probably the worst President in history.
Let me ask you something.........,
When you are looking for someone to fix your car, television, roof, do you look for a person with the least experience?
When you work for someone and you find out that you know more about the business then they do, do you have any respect for them? This is the person you are depending upon for your income. How does that make you feel?
When you are investing in stocks, 401k, or any other investments don't you check out who is running that investment to see if they have enough experience to make the right decisions?
COMMON SENSE
This election we saw the populace throw away their common sense and elect a man who made them feel good about themselves because they voted for a black man and that makes up for all the terrible things we did during slavery.
If you wanted to elect someone to make yourself feel good, there are plenty of black people out there with 10 times more experience and would do a better job.
You want to say that you didn't elect him because of his color but what other reason could you?
No experience, questionable associates, socialist. Come on!

Well you got what you wanted and now after two months of his Administration what do we see?

It reminds of a airplane ride with a first time behind the controls pilot with all the ups and downs and twist and turns and spins. DIZZY!!
At least now I can sit back and read at all these political forums, all the Obama supporters make excuses for all his screw ups and lies, and broken promises. Remember, you hated Bush and blamed him for everything.
I'll "act" like you now and blame Obama for everything too! OK?
Then maybe you'll learn through me just how stupid you sounded.

As they say," all things start at the beginning".

So I might as well get started.

I'm a General Contractor, and I must tell you that , of all the horror stories you hear about us there are a hundred more we could tell you about clients. I just did a estimate for a client that wanted a deck built. Simple deck, 18' x 18', 324 sq. ft. right. Two feet off the ground, two stairs. Easy deck. I first go to her house which is 45 minutes away, on a Saturday. I got to her house 7 minutes late. No one home. I call her. She says she just left the house, forgot I was coming. Then starts getting on my case about why I didn't call her to let her know I was on my way. WHAT!
Trying to be nice I refrained from saying " You stupid bitch, why didn't you pick up the phone and call me to make sure I was coming before you left? The phone works both ways". People like that only think of themselves.
So, still trying to be nice, I quickly get her info. and she asks me to e-mail the estimate because " she doesn't have time to wait on contractors.

I do the estimate. It comes to $4,500.00. I e-mail it to her and wait. The next day I get an e-mail back..........now listen to this.
She writes: " Hello, the deck is only 324 sq.ft, at 4500 that's 138.00 per foot. I can get a top of the line house in Slidell for 62.00 per foot. Thanks but no.
Now can you do the math? WHAT AN ASSHOLE! The dumb bitch can't divide.
So politely inform her that her calculator is broken and that it's $ 13.88 per foot. Which is a dam good price.
Here's a person who thinks she is SO smart, acts better than other people, and is a complete imbecile.
I bet after she sent me that e-mail she probably patted her self on the back and thought she told me off. "Boy, I told him! He didn't know who he was messing with"
Man I wanted to tell her off, but I stayed the professional, gave her a math lesson and said good luck.
People need to realise that not all contractors are out to steal you blind. We would just like to do our job and get paid for it. It's that simple.
